For anyone who's braved walking into an evangelical megachurch for the first time, this video will be hilarious. In some churches I've been to, there is actually a coffee holder attached to every seat in the sanctuary.

It has been argued that coffee was a lubricant of the Enlightenment—a drug that makes one alert, conversational, and interested in talking about ideas. Might modern retail coffee shops also have been the lubricant of the megachurch boom in recent decades? [go!]
