Text Ticker: New numbers from the American Religious Identification Survey

The ARIS, one of the major surveys by which we know the religious composition of the United States, just released a new set of numbers today, via USA Today. The folks in charge of the survey are also associated with Trinity College's Institute for the Study of Secularism in Society and Culture, which I've been investigating in recent weeks.

Affiliated religiosity is down, the "nones" are up, and "faith is now fill-in-the-blank." [go!]
