David Brooks on Neural Buddhists

5/15/2008 11:29:10

I'd like to give a little shout-out (so to speak) for David Brooks's editorial in the New York Times this week, "The Neural Buddhists." It touches on a lot of my recent academic work, which points to traces of religious thought at work in recent scientific work trying to explain religiosity.

See, in particular, my thesis here.

A version of it is supposed to be appearing in the May/June issue of Science & Spirit, though I still have yet to see a copy myself. When I do, rest assured it will be in the Articles section of this site.
